Default Oracle Shadowing - Case Sensitivity

    Question ??

Shadowing from P4 to Oracle, is there a parameter to set the case sensitivity in Oracle to case in-sensitivity ? Our Sc P4 files are set to case in- sensitivity for various reasons. We are having difficulties shadowing the array fields.

Peregrine has stated that the issue is with case sensitivity.

Thanks to all for your help

I think I read somewhere that the Oracle database need to be created as case insensitive and that it can't be changed dynamically.

    Tommy,

    Thanks for the update.

I have been discussing this issue with my DBA for some time now. I'll check to see if he can create the database with case-in-sensitivity.

We have been working on Shadowing Service Center to Oracle for some time now. Since our P 4 files are "case insensitive" we have not been able to shadow the files.

We have been working with Peregrine on this issue, and still we have not been able to complete the process.

It appears the the CLOB data will not shadow.

Has anyone had any success with shadowing to oracle ? I have not seen many comments on the Web site.

Are there any other customers attempting this process ?

Any advice on this subject would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
