Default Connect. It 3.2 Command Line connector

Trying to use the connect.it 3.2 command line connector from SC5.0.3.
The command line has 3 fields:
    Arg:
    Name:
    Path:

    I am getting errors:
System error 6: the handle is invalid ..
System error 2: can't find the file specified.

    the full path E:\incident.pl.

so the parameters for the command line connector are:
    Arg: [number] from pmo connector
    Name: "E:\incident.pl"
    Path: RETVAL = "E:/tivoli/bin/w32-ix86-tools-perl.exe"

    Any Clues?

I agree - we have tried the "\" instead of "/" and we get a different error. Either there is a syntactical thing we are missing or the connector is in error some how - not sure - like to know if any one has experience using this connector at all - even for other things?

Maybe a long shot, but could it be something like the us.launch.external syntax?
    Code:
    "E:\\tivoli\\bin\\w32-ix86-tools-perl.exe"
