    Default Problem With Activity Table

    Hello Guys !

I'am back for some new problems ! I am moving my P4 database (SC4.0.9) to Oracle 8.1.7.

All tablespaces are well dimensionned but each time I start a move the process gets always stopped when moving the Activity table.

I get the ORA-02218 error message. When I check the parameters for moving the table Activiy the Initial Size is 2597137Ko !!!!!

Really strange .... If anybody has already seen such a thing please bring me your lights !!

    Thanx a lot.

    Guillaume

I have no Oracle experience but have You checked how many records the activity file actually contains?

I have checked the number of Records which is 171191 ....

Actually I have limited the Maximum Iniutial Size of storage to 40 Ko through the Sqldbinfo file ....

    Didn't change anything ....

What You could do is export the DDL for the acitivity file, have Your DBadmin edit and run that directly in Oracle. Then import the modified DDL back into SC and move the files and when SC asks if it should reusing existing file in Oracle answer yes.

check your records , one of then are really big . SC looks for the biggest record ( length ) and use this value to calculate the sizes.
