    Product: ServiceCenter 3.0 SP2a

    Environment: WinNT 4.0

Problem_Description: Connect ServiceCenter to Time reporting web site. We

want to extract the problem/IR number to the web site using an ODBC

connection or through a macro. Web site is java developed web site using

IBM tools(IBM websphere an visual age for java).

The Website(Time System) assigns tasks to individuals. For mgmt to have

accurate reporting, we would like to pass on the IR Number from

ServiceCenter into the Time System and use that IR Number as the Task Number

    under a specific project.

For Example if Time System had Project number 10000

and that project had Tasks that were created based on IR's we would pass for

example IR # 12345 into Time System which would be Task # 12345.

Could you provide a bit more details...

    Specifically:

    1. Do all problem ticket numbers need to be made available to the Time System (TS)?

    2. At what point do the need to made available?

    3. Does the TS return info to SC?

    4. Does SC post additional info to the TS after the initial "upload"? (Such as: remove on close, etc)

    5. Does you TS use a "regular" database (or XML equivalent) to store data?

    Thanks,

    Jos
