Hmmm...their daily bandwidth has been exceeded. Must be a popular site. I know I'll definitely be seeing it at the local IMAX theater when it comes out. I saw the Two Towers there also and it was well worth it.

I downloaded a copy of the trailer a few weeks ago off kazarr and being a huge LOTR fan I can safely say it looks FANATASTIC!!!

I have also heard a rumour that after rotk they will screening all full editions back to back in cinemas! They would one hell of a cinema experience!

I have also booked my tickets to see the LOTR exhibition at the London science muesum, by all accounts its fanatastic (if you dont know, its all the costumes/sets etc from the films).

    See:

    for details.

    Cant wait!

I'm not really certain if other theaters have an IMAX type theater, but Cinemark is the one I go to and they have a couple locations scattered around the U.S.: http://www.cinemark.com/imax.asp

Trust me, if you try to schedule a weekend trip over here just to see the movie on IMAX, it would be worth it if you're that much of a fan. After seeing Two Towers on it last time, that's the only way to see ROTK.

edited to add: Actually upon further searching, I found that www.imax.com DOES contain a big list of theaters and there is an Omnimax one in Copenhagen. Now if they are screening these types of movies is another story.

Well I am not planning on going to US until next year around august / september. Unless ofcourse I win the big jackpot in lotto ;-)

But I agree I have seen 2 movies in an IMAX theater. One was called "Kuwait is burning" and was about the American firefighters that helped fight the oil fires thet Iraq set off.

If it was not for the missing heat it was almost as if I was downthere.

The next movie I saw was about the international spacestation.

EDIT: No unfortunately "Planetariet" does not show movies like this.

I downloaded the trailer last night. It's looking good, of course. Can't wait to see it on a 5 story screen
