Fill field.

Hi..



in my cc.incquick - form are 2 fields (contact.name + logical.name) where I only need to hit ENTER to get the informations from the linked file.



But there are some other link fields where I have to click the fill-icon or press F9 to make the link working.



Does anyone know WHY it is like this.. and maybe there is a possibility to change a link field so that I would have to hit ENTER only to get the linked informations instead of using the mouse or the F9-key...??

Just found it...



contact.name and logical.name are virtual join-link fields.

That was the different.

It is possible to get the functionality with ENTER on any fill box.



You need to goto the displayscreen and options and locate the one for FILL. Copy that and change the GUI option to 0. This works - it may not be perfect.

There is actually one more option to do that. BUT unfortunately it has a sideeffect in form of a bug.



On the fill button you have either a data changed event or a focus out event. The number in this attribute correspond to a display option. So if You put 9 into a focus out event the fill will be triggered even when the user hits TAB to goto the next field.



Unfortunately it is buggy. If You have entered information in other fields before then those fields are erased when the event is triggered >=(
