Am I the the only one that find Peregrines invitation to beta test a scharade ?
Our initial request to test SC5.1 was rejected with the same reason our request to test SC6: Too many have applied! What a joke.
No I think the reason is that only the really big customers and partners are selected and small customers are bypassed even though they have very competent users that can and will find lots of bugs.
So why does Peregrine send out an invitation if they already have ruled out a lot of customers? Why does Peregrine not just invite those few they want to test the new version?
Specifically I think we have been bypassed because we have found several bugs that are clearly bugs but development insist that it works as designed - latest example with the changed open-callback process. Development know that we won't accept that kind of "easy solutions" so they rule us out of beta testing because they are afraid that we will find too many bugs. Well at least that is my theory until Peregrine prove otherwise!
What is Your opinion?
