Does anyone know if accessing data directly (when stored in external RDBMS) violates the Peregrine Support contract?
Thanks!

Have You tried the obvious?
I think you may find that you can arrange special requirements without impacting the support. If you want an example send me a mail.
Accessing ServiceCenter data within an external DBMS will not endanger your support contract, as long as it is read-only access. Attempting to UPDATE ServiceCenter's data directly through the RDBMS, as with most enterprise applications, is risky at best. ServiceCenter's application layer often expects certain things to happen when data is updated, and updating it externally can disrupt this process, and lead to data corruption. If you do this, of course Peregrine support will do their best to help you out of a jam, but you run the risk of being the lunchtime joke around the support center for some time to come, not to mention almost certainly bringing your system down at 9:30 AM on a Monday morning
Hope this helps.
