Hi,

Do you know if it's possible and how?
Thanks

I am not yet familiar with unix but you should be able to launch a script with us.launch.external.
Would this be a recurring event on a regularly scheduled basis, or just in response to some triggering event?
Please also provide your ServiceCenter version information. In SC 4.0, the scheduled maintenance module makes setting up recurring processes trivial.

Take a look at the us.launch.external application. There is a parameter called boolean1 that when set to 0 (false) should execute the process on the server. You can try running us.launch.external from format control. This application is also documented well, I believe. I have not tested this myself for server-side execution however. Obviously, you could also write a quick and dirty SCAuto application to do this.
Hope this helps,
Dave
Thanks for your proposition.
I indeed thought about about us.launch.external but I thought it was client-side only.
I will try the proposition of Geo.
I will let you know.
Rem: SC version is 4.0.10
Rem2: We haven't bought the SCAuto SDK
Hi again.
Apparently, it does not work.
I have read somewhere that us.launch.external uses WINEXEC. The problem is that our server is on SUN Solaris...
Any ideas?
Use us.launch.external.NEW. You have to get it from HP/Prgn support
