Text File Connector

Hi All,



Does anyone know where you can define a text qualifier for the text file connector? There is no place to do this on the decriptor file and I can't find one on the connector configuration either.



I have a bunch of text in a file that is seperated by the tilde ~ and qualified with double quotes " but there seems to be no place for me to add the " qualifier.



any thoughts?

What version of connect.it are you using?



Usually you need to activate advanced settings to change a thing like this.

I am using 2.60 but also tried 3.0 neither one of these has a space for a text qualifier even under advanced config. However I was able to get around this a by using this script



replace([field.name], chr(34), "") chr(34) is the double quote so I was able to remove it.

If You have the base Connect.It the text connector and SC connectors are both free.... wauv yes something for free from Peregrine
