Anyone running >4.07 on Unix watch your /var filesystem. The SYSBLOB attachment file stores tmp attachments in /var/tmp. These files appear to be just left there and over time can fill up the filesystem. According to Peregrine they can be deleted safely and there is a fix in a later version. We have now added an entry to the cron scheduler which greps for files owned by the SC user ID and removes them daily.
