Default SC6 server cannot start after install

    Ohh well, first bug found!

Disappointing! After installing the SC6 server as installation documentation describes, the server cannot start! After a boot the server still cannot start.

    A dll is missing!

    MSVCP60.dll

I tried to install on a freshly installed windows 2000 with all relevant servicepacks and security fixes installed. Nothing but operating system are on the pc.

I found the missing DLL on a different windows 2000 machine so apparently MS office must be installed?

Ok, I have done some more testing of this bug and the result is.

If using the Custom option during install, even when selecting all options the dll will be missing.

Using Complete install will correctly install the dll!

Hmm that was not quite true.

The dll was in fact installed when I installed WMware toolkit on the wmware server on which I tested this so it really is missing from the server installation package.
