    Hello,

Can somebody provide me with a step-to-step explanation how the change the standard authentification in Get.Services 2.01? Now the user must be known as an operator in the operator table. I don't like that and I want to validate the user in the contacts table. If the id is found there, login to SC with a predefined operatorid and password.

I found an article on the Peregrine Support site about this but is wasn't exactly what I wanted. It is a bit brief in the explanation plus I'm using Novell here and not Windows.

I have the possibilty to change the code with Get Studio so this is not a problem.

    Hi,

if you follow the instructions on support.peregrine.com, document id: S60-M1G-YLL1 you will be able to use authentification against the contacts table instead of the operator table.

I have done that solution a couple of times when I configured get-it for peregrine customers and it works perfect.
