    Hi,

I want to open/update a call in SC via Email-Connector.

Q1: Do I have to specify a Farmat in my email system that the user should use to open/update a call in SC?

Q2: What input is neccessary from the user to update a call in SC via email-in?

Q3: Are there any predined Scenarios available for email-in and/or email-out?

Q4: Where can I find more information about the email-connector?

    Regards

    Uwe

Gérard, sorry I didn't respond to Your email yet.

As for email fetch I only tried a few attempts with the POP3 mail fetch option. I never tried direct access to the lotus notes database with the Lotus Notes connector which I think is what You are looking for information about, right?

You should look in the programmers guide to Connect. It, this lists all the commands available in the script language. You can do some advanced stuff with these functions.
    Best regards Tommy

    Default Scenario

    Hi All,

I have been able to build a scenario that successfully fetches an email from a mapi profile and creates an incident in ServiceCenter.

If you still need this you can email me an I can send instructions on how to accomplish this.

    Regards

    Clarence

    Default Email Connector

    Sorry for the delay response

Yes It does work with the email connector. I am using Connect-it 3.2.1

I was inform by Peregrine that I had to format the email as an xml document with all the tags, also I created a DTD document that parse out the email.

After completing these steps I created the mappings and it work.

    Regards

    Clarence
