knowlix

hello..



I been working for the past 2 days on knowlix web and has discovered knowlix web to be both an unstable and an uncompromising tool to use. (the documentation and sample softpages is just bad! I ended up rewriting all the softpages i need to use)



I have managed to create an area for knowlix for general public to perform searches and browse for solutions with company web look and feel.



Would love to hear some other people's experience on knowlix web and custom developement on the subject. also the softpage is html thus no processing in asp or any other server scripting langauge. I think this and the way it returns html and not data for script manipulation like a database is its major drawback.



Also Kdiscussion and information is so scarce.. my search on google on siteserver error returned 2 client pages with similar problems. not exactly what i was hoping for..



love to hear from anybody on the subject!

Hi!

All I can say is that we together with the Peregrine solution also purchased knowlix.
But no one has been able to show us the tool or the benefits
Therefore when we upgrade the amount of licenses we decided to exclude knowlix from our deal.
