Default Update of tickets via GetServices not displayed later via ServiceCenter

    Hi All,

Is anybody dealt with similar issue ?

The scenario is an installation of the SC 6.0 version, with files on RDBMS ORACLE 9.2, running on a AIX 5.2 OS platform. As summary, I can say that does not matter what type of update being made on a ticket by an operator connected through Get-Services, the text of the field description (from the “activity” table) just dissappears when trying to display it on Service Center – I checked this directly on the ORACLE table. And yet, we can see this text again with Get-Services. So obviously the system writes the text on a different file/table: where ?

    Thanks in advance.

    Default Resolved (tanks outlance)

    FYI

    please check formatctrl "problem.template.browse"

    11 th line:
    (1 in description in $G.work.file=2 in update.action in $file;2 in update.action in $file="OTI Event")

    modify on update from:
    false to true

    and formatctrl "problem.template.update"

    find line with: $pmc.actions=$work.text

    change on update from:
    true to null($axces)
