Lightbulb URL Link to ServiceCenter Ticket in email notification

In ServiceCenter 6.1 there's a new feature available in SC Web Client.

You can send out email notifications with a link to a ServiceCenter Ticket (call, incident, whatever...).
Please check online documenation that is installed with SC6.1 Eclipse Client (search for "web notification").

I have installed an out-of-the-box system on a debian 3.1 web server.
It is only available for a limited time - I will remove it soon...

    You can test:

    http://www.jobidoo.de/sc/index.do?ct...ll%20CALL10004

    login: falcon

On this server apache2 and tomcat 5 are configured, so that you can call Web Client over port 80.

The only thing I struggled with, was configuration of web.xml.

You need to replace "localhost" with "fully qualified domain name"
First I used "www.jobidoo.de" - this did not work... after using
"h7xxxxx.serverkompetenz.net" and rebooting tomcat, it worked
(many thanks to Peregrine Support Frankfurt).

Then I tried this feature in SC6 application (added fields in company record
and loading ScriptLibrary from SC61), but this did not work...

Did someone manage to get this working?

I am not sure but don't You think some of this functionality lies in the binary?

... my thought was, that it is enough to run SC6 application with SC61 server and SC61 web application, adding fields in info dbdict and loading SkriptLibrary and calling the JS-Application, that is creating the URL including the hash... but I ran into errors... it seems there are more applications affected, that need to be upgraded...

it works fine on our SC613 environment but be sure to use the full qualified domain name of your psc server in web.xml
If you use SSL certificates for your psc server, use as CN as well the full qualified domain name

That's my experience as well - SC6.1 works, if you configure Apache/Tomcat accordingly...
