SC can produce an unload file that has elements that are to big to be loaded again!

SCR 16439 opened on this issue.

Yes I am now closer to knowing what went wrong. I just need to confirm something.

But Peregrine said that the error was probably caused by the fact that we run SC3SP3 and the unload may have been done on SC3SP4 or greater which allows recordsizes up to 64K and SP3 has a 32K limit.

I post the result when I have confirmed if this is correct, the unload in question was done by an external partner.

The information you got from Peregrine makes sense of course.

If SP3 haves a limit of 32K and you want to load a file with more than 32K....

But the mainthing for me is.. it seems to be relevant for me cause we are using Version SP3 too.

But i really dont like the thought about updating to another SP cause i had some problems after our upgrade to SP3 already.

But i will remember for that... "DONT load files which were unloaded with SP4"
