Thread: Help - Can't logon

    Default Help - Can't logon

    I'm a v5 user and am having a little trouble with v6,

    I have just changed jobs and have now got a laptop with 6 installed. The client connection window (which is new to me) has a connection which points to the prod system which is fine, but I also have a test system on this laptop and I guessed that I would just make a new connection but just change the Server Host name and port number.

    I can connect to the prod system ok, but everytime I try and connect to the test system on this laptop I get;

    Error Connecting to server, server not up or wrong connection parameters: https://<hostname>:<port>

    Cause: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: Message send failed

    reading the documentation, it goes on about the path to the CA certificates file on the local Windows client installation is different from the path that the Client Packaging Utility originally saved etc etc,....

    Does this sound right? v 5 was so much easier, copy the client icon, change the path,.... hey presto,...

    HELP!

    Hi,

    I did read that thread before, It describes how you can examine your winsock settings to determine if the registry keys are corrupt. I did the test and all seemed fine?

    Maybe I'll have another look,

    Thanks,

    See if you have SSL checked, looks like it based on the "https" part. Try turning that off, as you probably don't have that setup on the laptop.

    talk to your system administrator, we don't know how your system is setup.
