From P4 to RDBMS

Out company are thinking of moving our P4 database to a MS SQL database,....

Currently we run LFScans etc on our P4 database, and we look after all the running....

If we move to SQL database,... and then experience problems with slowness etc,.... I assume then it would all be handled within SQL and require a proper DBA to sort it....?

Just wondering what will be removed from our SC team and handled by the dba's?

All performance tuning will be moved to MSSQL. Add and regen indexes. Add new fields can still be done from SC.
