Issue with Connect it 3.6.1 and SC 6.1.3
We are upgrading an environment from Connect It 3.3.2 and SC 5.1.4. The problem we've encountered is that SC is truncating events after 16 characters (evtype file). So some of old scenarios are not firing because of this.
Is there an easy way to change the event name in Connect It with out having to go through the remapping exercsie? According to HP this is an issue with a particular dll used by SC and won't be addressed until 6.2.0.1.
Well, two things to say about this.
1. yes, it's possible, open the scenario file with a text editor and do a find/replace the old name with the new.
2. I've had problems moving scenarios between versions of connect-it. Weird things have occurred. I've found it best to rebuild scenarios when moving up versions.
