Default Performace issues AC 5.0 WebClient

    Hi,

We are running AC 5.0 with the WebClient for a Proof-Of-Concept.

We have chosen the webclient since it is more user-friendly.

Now we experience huge performace issues, we have installed the server serveral times with different configs.

A a Windows 2003 Server and TomCat5, VMWare server with a Windows 2003 instace and TomCat5. Both times with more than 3 GB RAM.

The actual TomCat5 services uses more than 1GB RAM of the server..... and we cannot login to the system or if we can login we cannot navigate since all new selections takes more than 5-10 minutes.

Have anyone got any experience about this and what we can do about it. We have verified our config against consultants pc and documentation without any success to get our webclient to work properly.

Hmm, I can't say that the idea of running tomcat in a vmware session sounds all that good to me...

    Hi,

I experienced the same issue but you can fix it:
    - Make sure you have more than 1GB for your physical hardware (3 GB is perfect)
    - Set your VM to use 1GB (2 prefered) at least !
    - Do not set more than 512MB for Tomcat (it will be ok)

With theses settings it should be ok (it works).

Try to get the warm up batch file in order to reduce navigation time (it will build the temp files in tomcat folder during the startup).
