Adding a field to AssetCenter

I have added a field to assetcenter within the portfolio table.

On the computers table I have added this field to the computer screen through the links. (ie I have not added this field to the computers table aswell, just linked to the field in portfolio items)

ie on the page screen it says portfolio.'field'

When I update the field within Portfolio items, the data is shown when I open the computer screen.

If however I update the field within the computers screen,... it wont save. The data stays blue and when I escape out if says 'do you want to save changes',.. I click yes, but it does not save.the changes.

Any one know what i'm doing wrong?

surely im updating straight to the field so should save the changes?

Hi Jones,

What's your AssetCenter version ? 4.3, 4.4, 5.x ?
What's your field type and your page link definition ?
