ReportCenter and AssetCenter ??

Has anyone succesfully used ReportCenter pointing an Oracle AssetCenter instance? When I setup the "Server Specific" AssetCenter instance using ReportCenter Administrator, and I click on "Test", I receive the "Connected" message.

Should I create an ODBC member to connect to AssetCenter?

When I try to run a report (which requires no parameters); I get "Error starting print job. 723: Error in File ...(xxx.rpt listed here)...: Failed to open a rowset."

I believe that the problem is in logging on to AssetCenter ... when I created the report, I had to log onto the server, and then give my AssetCenter logon ID, but I do not get that popup through ReportCenter (I think it traps the popup and doesn't pass it back to me).

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi Dan,

I don't realize this kind of link with ReportCenter but your problem is clause to one I have last year connecting Crystal Reports Enterprise with AC4.

The solution was to create direct connection with odbc driver.
