Peregrine Nordic are planning to release a special nordic adjusted release of ServiceCenter 4.x.

Haven't even heard of it (then again, I work in the Netherlands, so...) ???
Would be nice to know how the "Nordic" release differs from the regular...
Peregrine Nordic have used their knowledge about the nordic customers to customize 4.x to better suit the nordic requirements.
That means they have simplified the Service Management and Incident Management modules. The nordic companies in general works very differently from american companies.
One example I can give You from my company, which by the way is global with offices in New Jersey and Tokyo, is the alerting. Out of the box SC alerting is based on categories. We need alerting based on customers and priorities, so we have had to develop our own solution.
Allright...
well, I'm planning to ev. go back to Finland/Sweden, so I'll probably meet this version somewhere.
Thanks for the info
regards,
Jarmo
Hi,
as far as I have heard from Professional Services (2 days ago) the ServiceCenter Nordic framework is cancelled.
Yeah we are glad that we did not buy that. Most of it was something I could do myself.
hi,
me too but I think a "framework" would be a good idea for new customers so they can get quicly up and running with all the Nordic-best-practices.
Yes agreed. Are You volunteering?
Maybe we should raise that on the next PUGN conference in october to see if it even is something that other users would like.
