Default Pass AssetCenter record ID to ServiceCenter

    Connect-it: 3.71
    AssetCenter: 4.3.2
    ServiceCenter: 6.0.1

We have a table of contacts that is maintained in AssetCenter.
A record can be added / modified / deleted.
The record is unique based on 4 pieces of data.
This will allow for a unique key when deleting a record.

However, some of the key data can be modified, which prevents a reconciliation when adding or modifying a record.

The only unique identifier is the AssetCenter record ID; however when in the connect-it scenario, the record ID does not appear in the element list. How can the record ID be accessed so that it can be passed to ServiceCenter?

Also, when a record is deleted in AssetCenter, is there some type of indicator that Connect-It can see to show that? In other words, how can a delete in AssetCenter be replicated in ServiceCenter?

Take this with a grainof salt. I have no experience with AssetCenter.

Many years ago with an earlier version of CIT I wanted to read a file in SC that was not supported. Ie not available when selecting the file in CIT.

I was able to manually add it but modifying the a configuration file. Check in the CIT installation folder and look for some configuration files for AC and see if you can edit the file. It is XML files so should not be a problem. Maybe you can find the relevant file by doing a textsearch on the table name.

Note: That by modifying the configuration files you also exclude yourself from getting support from HP with that particular scenario as they most likely would not recommend this.
    Best regards Tommy

After poking around in the configuration stuff, I ended up finding it on the third page of the connector configuration:

1: Make sure that when in the connect-it scenario builder you have the "advanced configuration" option checked in the tools menu.
    2: Configure the AssetCenter connector.
3: The third page gives "advanced configuration" options .
4: Check the "Expose the primary keys of the table" checkbox.

    That did the trick.
