    Cool AC 501 Modules

    Hi ,

I am a Junior AC Consultant who has just installed AC.

Question I have is: How do you authorize / restrict access to the various modules in AC: Procurement, Financials, Software and Contracts?

Do you do a complete installation and then configure it according to the licenses purchased (and if so, how do go about doing that?) or is it something that has to be done via an advanced customized installation (once again if so, how does one go about doing this)?

    Regards,

    Dean

If the end user has only purchased certain modules then they will have their licence key cut to only include these modules,....

You have probably installed it using a temp auth code with full access, once you replace this key with their key it should cause any modules that haven't been paid for to disappear,....

Jones is correct. The license will turn on/off modules for everyone, including the Admins.

If you want to restrict access to a licensed Module you should look at Functional Domains in the manual where it discusses Security Profiles.
