SC 6.2.2.1. I need to create a link on the login.prompt format to open in an external window. I found a doc for adding a link to a menu but that doesnt see to work for me. I'm using IE 6.0 and the error is "JAVA Void".

Is at the login.prompt form where is not working....
I take it you're trying to do this in the WebClient? Normally I'd recommend a call to us.launch.external from a display option, but I don't think that's possible from the login format.
Have you considered the possibility of "hacking" the HTML/javascript pages in your WebClient deployed folder?
