Default Handheld Barcode Scanner solution with AssetCenter

Does anyone have any advice for handheld barcode scanner solutions for inventory management functions in AssetCenter? We have been getting feedback from a few vendors that each claim to own the majority share of AssetCenter installations, and we wanted to reach out to see what the community is using.

Specifically, does anyone have any experience with the solution from CG4 or Linium? If not, is there another vendor that we should be looking into?

    Thanks in advance,
    Kyle

Used JCube Mobile in the past, don't think they still exist.

Perhaps Vettro, although I am not sure if they already can deliver an AssetCenter solution 'off the shelve'. Their PDA and BlackBerry support could be interesting.

    Default Handheld Solution for AssetCenter

We do in fact use CG4, a mobile version of AssetCenter for Receiving, Asset Tracking, Inventories, and more. We have been using the CG4 solution for over 3 years now in our 23 offices worldwide with great success. We've done some minor customization to the forms, and we've had to modify the Connect-It Scenarios to add some functionality that doesn't come out of the box but makes the end user experience much better.

I'd be happy to discuss it in greater detail, but overall, we're fairly satisfied with the handheld solution. And although there's a small learning curve, it's a simple solution that solves some problems, but not all, and leaves you with a simple mobile solution that works pretty consistently.

We're a law firm and process hundreds of asset transfers, receipts of goods every day / week.
