    Default New tables in SM7

I haven't had a chance to install SM7 yet. Was wondering how adding a table works. Do you design it and then it pushes out or is it like 6.1.x (and probably 6.2.x) where it pushes out the table with a counter to create it, then you add fields?

Really hoping for the former, as I'd prefer to create my dbdicts completely, then push them out (including with initial keys), so I don't have to go redo the keys in Oracle every time I create something.

I have not tried yet but since P4 is gone in SM7 you will be creating the table directly in the RDBMS of your choice (through SM7 of course).

Just ran a quick test for you... when I created the table it prompted for name and then ServiceCenter immediately created the table (before giving the option of adding fields) within the SQL Server 2005 Express server I'm using for the development system.

Ugh. That's what I was worried about.

    Thanks
