What do you think about HP's new ToDo list that you are forced into after logon even as admin ?

    It can be disabled....

I believe you can add $G.show.menu.forms=true to login.DEFAULT to get back to the old forms, though it seems HP is moving towards the left pane system navigator, it may be better for you (and/or your end users) to just get used to the new feel.

    Question

I think the new queue/search/navigation model finally fixed navigation in the application. Bring able to switch from Table to Table using the queue pull-down in the Queues and Search screens is far faster than the old method of digging through multiple menus.

The elimination of the horrible "Favorite Inboxes" combo box from the sc.manage screens is a hs uge plus, and the ability to directly access the availalble viewfor the table being viewed finally exposes them well enough that end-users may actually use them.

The remaining problem is that they need to redo the menu records driving the Navigator so that end users actaully get navigation panes that make sense. Right now the out-of-box navigators are horrible for anyone but FALCON.

This is one case where I think different is absolutely better after you take the time to adjust to it. Plus, no more pesky menu forms to maintain!

We had to disable the Todo list as it used to take 30 seconds to run a query of a view that returns around 2500 records. After this issue is fixed, I think the Todo menu is quite helpful for end users.
