    Exclamation ServiceCenter Knowledge Management

I am having some trouble understanding how the Knowledgement Mgmt tool works.
If you have a little documentation about the process necessary to follow for it's implementation, it would great...
    thanks for you help...

Default ToDo after installing SM Knowledge Mgmt

Hi, I just installed KM and had to do some steps to make it work.

After install, you need to tell SM where the server is and which style to use for display.
    Open MenuNavigation-SystemAdministration-OngoingMaintenance-EnvironmentRecords-KnowledgeMgmtEnv.
Set the "Host name of search server" to the one where you installed KM. Verify.
Set "Mapped Drive for Style Files" to "C:\Program Files\HP\Service Manager 7.00\Search Engine\data\stylesets" (if you installed on Win in STD dir's). Verify.

Then verify that "KMUpdate" is running in background:
    MenuNavigation-SystemStatus.
If "KMUpdate" is not found, press "Start Scheduler" and start it.

Last, KM needs to go through all Knowledge Sources and index it.
    MenuNavigation-KnowledgeMgmt-Manage Knowledgebases.
Search; then select each of the found items and press "Full reindex". This may take a while, depending of your data. If you've just loaded demo data, it'll be no more than two or three minutes altogether.

    HTH!

Second, the KM sources need to be indexed.
