    Default Has onyone used uCMDB?

    Hi,

I have downloaded a uCMDB demo and it looks quite advanced compared to CMDB from SC.

I wonder if anyone uses uCMDB and can share the feelings how it works? How it can be integrated with SC?
I think it is a strong competition for CMDB included in SC/SM and maybe in future HP will force anyone to use uCMDB.

    regards
    Artur

I am not sure wat u mean by "CMDB from SC" but yes I am working on UCMDB from Mercury ... now HP for quite some now.
Its integration with SC is not an integration in real sense. Its just export of data from UCMDB to SC through connect IT. I don't know about any other method of integration.
Let me know if u need any other info.

    Hi,

thanks for the answer. I have not used the uCMDB but from what you wrote
it seems these products are not integrated in the practicall way.

It looks like they are integrated only in "marketing way" ))

    regards

Not exactly. Its very much integrated with CCM and SC. Its just that with SC the integration looks like an export and import of data which can be fully automated.

Then contact your HP representative or a HP partner to have a demo installed.
