    Default scauto mappping in SM7

    Hello All,
I've got SCAuto sending email events into SM7 (showing up in eventin) but for some reason its not generating the tickets. I had it generate 2 in my efforts but don't know what did it b/c they were incidents and I was looking for interactions...
anyways, I created the map for this and the registration for that map in SM7.
I then created the ToSC .map file for this event.
What am I missing??? Also, how do I get it to gen an Interaction vs. and Incident???

    Thanks much!

    Hi,

every event has its purpose. For example: epmo opens an incident, epmu updates incident. You have to use correct event for interactions (what was it - esmin maybe????)
I do not remember well because I have not used SCAuto for about 3 years.
But if I am not wrong you had to either:
    - configure SCAuto so it used correct event
    or
    - it has nothing to do with SCauto, because it always used the same event,
but in application for that event you had to open the ticket.

    hope that helps
    Artur

    Thanks for the reply Artur.
I think SM7 uses 1 [eventin] item to bring the emails into the system, but could be wrong...might be my problem.
I went in SM7 and created a map and registered the map. within registration, I'm using app name: axces.email.receive.
I'll try renaming my SCAuto side maps to epmo and see if that opens an incident...let you know.
    Again, thanks for the post!
