    Default problem.type error SM7

    Hi again guys

I'm hoping that you can help. When I try and add a Problem type into Service Manager I receive an error stating that DEFAULT is not a valid Company in the company file (se.search.engine, display.decide). (see attached screenshot)

I have then looked at the relevent form in format control and I've found the offending line of code, however it is in RAD code which I have no experience in (See attached screenshot). Is there anyway of fixing this problem without disabling the the mandatory need to fill this box?

    Many thanks

As a short term solution i added DEFAULT in as a company with DEFAULT as the company code and DEFAULT as the customer name

    Smile DEFAULT company error

This is why they say there's no such thing as an OUT-OF-BOX system. What you need to do is change the default value under data policy.

Go to system defintion>>tables>>company>>add and edit fields>>company....change defauly value under data policy
