    Default SM7 Connect-IT 3.81 Error - Server not supported ??

I always get an error massage (Version '2277' of the ServiceCenter server is not supported) when i define/test the connection parameters in Connect-IT 3.81 (rev. 7632 or Rev. 7634). ServiceManager 7.01 and the associated Demo-DB is installed and correct working. Same connection parameter as in the SM Client. Does anyone have similar problems/error massages ?

    Hello Hauke,

you need to configure the "Legacy Integration Service" in your SM7 installation. The service needs to be started. It listens to port 12690 per default. There is a sc.ini where you can configure the connection parameters.

I'm running CIT 3.81 build 7626 which runs fine.
Please keep in mind you need to connect to "Service Manager Web Service". Take care about the port (smserver:13080) when you configure the Web Service connector.

I'm not using the Legacy Integration Service. With SM7 the config file is named sm.cfg and sm.ini

Still problems...by the way, can anyone tell me the difference between sm.ini and sc.ini or sc.cfg and sm.cfg. Is there a priority, why is SM7 using two different inis or cfgs ?

    Hi,

sm.ini and sm.cfg are used by the SM7, sc.ini and sc.cfg are only used by Legacy Integration Service that is used by Connect-IT and SCAuto...
