    Default SM7 Webtier access

    Hi,

I have a problem when using the server name instead of the IP address when accessing SM7 by webtier.

We can't see the form with logon information. See attached file.

If you know this issue, please let's me know.

    Hi,

Have you read the requirements for deploying webtier app in the installation pdfs (additional libraries etc.)?
Did you look into the app server logs?
What application server do you use (port number is unreadable on my screen)?

We're running on SM 7.00, with Apache Tomcat 6.0.16 (Win 2K3 EE)
We don't have this issue with any of this solutions : IP, localhost, or server name.

How about tomcat logs, any errors in stderr.log?

FYI: Tomcat 6.x is not a supported web application server for SM 7.00.
Please see the attached compatibility matrix for the release.

I have seen a similar problem, but it was also on Tomcat 6.x and did not occur on a supported version.
