Default SM7 integration with web portal

    Hi,

I have a requirement of integrating SM7 with existing web portal(internal to client company). The requirement goes like this:

User logs into the web portal with employeeId and password which is authenticated via MS AD. We have to put a link to SM7(ess.do) web page form inside the portal. But the client does not want to input again his login credintials to login to SM7. He wants to bypass the SM7 authentication bcoz he has done it once.

Is there any method to fulfil the above requirement?

    Thankx in Advance,
    hirupras.

I remember passing ?loginuser= to Peregrine Get-It login.asp with reference security on the server, but there is better ways to do it now.

What you are looking for is "Trusted Single Sign-on" and Single Sign-on information. HP Support has documents related to that.

The PDF file is very useful. I have started working on that.

Thanks a lot for the help.

Well, Most of the concepts of Service Center and Service Manager are the same. I have worked on LDAP integrating with SM, reading the service center guide.

But you can always check. But i guess the trusted sign-on can be read from the guide supplied as well.
