Digital Photo recovery

Heay Guys... Has any body tried recovering the deleted images from the memory card of the digital camera?

I am using a Sony Cybershot 6 MegaPixel camera and accidentally deleted photos... I have used the Sony memory card.

Unknowingly, I have used the same memory card to take some more pictures after this fateful incident... However, I lost around 100 photos and taken around 40 new photos after that....

So, Now the big question... How can I get my deleted images back?

Appreciate if you can point me to the right direction in this regard,as they are very important photos for me !!!

Also, tested and worked well - plugged the card reader with an SD card with errors into a Mac running Mac OS X 10.3.9 and I was able to recover most photos. On Win XP the card was not recongnized...
