Default Updating Change Mgmt tasks via event in

    Tommy,

here is the screen shot of the registration I am using for our change task events:

In the query line I had written: number=1 in $axces.fields and in the action to perform I had put update.

The query is not necessary and just messes up the event, which knows by default the the first item in the list is to be used in queries.

the action to perform is determined in the connect.it scenario. Mine actions are either update or close. I said "Update" before but that is not correct.

Ok, then this is yet another example of STUPID hard-coding of things that should be user customizable...

And it is also another example of difference between incident management and change management. With PMO You can change the query as You like. In fact the default query is stupid. On a customer SC I had to code the query so that it will never find a hit because they want a new PM.
    Best regards Tommy
