I URGENTLY required a uCMDB consultant for a 12 months contract assignment in Brussels, Belgium.

Description:
The systems management consultant joins the IT Infrastructure CMDB Design Team, responsible for resource and also “end-to-end”’ discovery and dependency mapping design for different technical domains (Unix, Windows, Oracle, SAP, Websphere and others) and specific application landscapes. The Infrastructure Designer uses his broad IT infrastructure knowledge to design state of the art discovery patterns solutions and integrate these into the existing CMDB environment. The team is also responsible to create specific views/queries, design the correlation between discovered items, provide impact analysis reports and change records reports in comparison with a goldmaster.

Required skills:
HP uCMDB
ITIL

Technical skills:
Proven knowledge of HP uCMDB (a certification is a strong asset)
Platform knowledge (HP-UX, IBM AIX, Windows Server)
Application & middleware knowledge (SAP, Oracle, Websphere Application Server) is an asset
Java & Python Scripting experience
Networks Protocols experience (TCPIP, SNMP, WMI)
Technical CMDB experience in major complex & corporate environments
Knowledge of ITIL Change Management
Knowledge of general ITIL standard and practices is an asset.

Non-technical skills
Good knowledge of English, French and Dutch languages
