Hi,
How to turn on the AdbLog feature in AC 5.x client? I have enabled it through Edit --> Options and set the "Explain Plan" as 'Yes'. Even then, the log file is not getting created.
Is there anything that I am missing?
Thanks.

Hi.. Any help on this?
Thanks in advance !!
I did not respond because I do not use AC anymore so I can not check
what I remeber. Keep in mind that I have not used AC for at least 2 years
so check twice what I am trying to tell you.
There should be some document about adblog available at HP support.
Basically - you need to configure am.ini (beware it may be in few locations in Documents and settings).
When you do this - there is a combination of keys which turns on the logging: Ctrl + something (sorry - it was too long ago).
Without that combination you will not be able to start adblog.

Thanks for the reply Artur.
Yes, I have followed the HP document and used Ctrl+Options while enabling the AdbLog.. But still no luck...
Thanks.
When you use the combination with Ctrl you should see a message on the bottom of AC client. Do you see anything ?
have you read KM48272 ?

Artur
Hi Artur.. I am not seeing any message while enabling the log by Ctrl+Options.
Where/How can I find the KM article you were mentioning about.. I have searched in HP site, but couldnt find it actually..
Thanks.
It is in Self solve database. Do you have access to it?

Artur
Yes. I have followed the same doc to enable the AdbLog... But have no luck in figuring out what might be I am missing..
Thanks.
Hi,
maybe this way:
1. place only
[Option]
/AdbLog=1
in am.ini
2. Save and exit this file, then relaunch the client.
Press F3 to toggle adblogging on
Do some action (search in AC)
Press CTRL+F3 to open the log file.
If still no luck, change some option for displaying in AC client and verify which am.ini has changed (looking into modificcation date).
But it should be:
/Documents and Settings/<your current user name>/am.ini
regards
Artur
