I am concerned about the Microsoft Office Outlook issue in the log, also if I try to open Outlook I get a similar error and outlook will not open. If I have not tried to start SCAuto Mail Outlook opens fine.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

The issue is (at least) with your outlook pst file. What does the log file look like when you reboot, not open outlook, and start mail right away?

That is correct. Only one can use the system. So either you or SCauto.

The application will start an email connection using your pst file, and should be able to send them that way.

POP3 typically requires a "manual" connection, which would mean email will not be sent until you open it up on the desktop as a foreground application. If you can configure your outlook (using the user that to whom's Mapi you're connecting) to connect periodically to your pop3 account automatically, it should work.

Are you trying to send mail or also receive mail?

If just sending, I'd suggest using scsmtp. Doesn't require the MAPI crap, much faster to setup and easier to use. Search for existing threads on it here.

We are using SM 7.10 with SCAuto 4.0.2 with a POP3 account

When started, SCAuto is not automatically getting emails from the server. How do I set SCAuto get emails automatically?

    Thanks
