Now that Peregrine has been delisted, I wonder what the future holds for:
1. The company itself
2. New software sales
3. Consulting opportunities for partners
4. Training/Education for both customers and partners

Just heard on the grape vine that Peregrine are laying another 75% of there staff off, and Remedy are going it alone..... Sounds like there in big trouble
How reliable are your sources ? Because 75% ? Peregrine itself is down to 700 people or so already, cutting 75% would mean going down to 175 people, they need more than that just for support !!! If they are cutting back this much, it means they are going down and just want to keep costs down to nothing while they milk their existing contracts all the way....Originally Posted by gavster
And isn't Remedy already generally alone already ? All that Peregrine needs to do is sell them off and they have a product line and the whole works to have an autonomous company.
Ive heard it from consultants who are from a big european consultancy company (mentioning no names!) but I agreee with you it does sound bit excessive, has anyone else heard anything?
I just checked with one of my sources and he does not believe this. And to back that I can say that he knew before about the 50% reduction before it was made public so I tend to believe him.
This is horrible to witness, within two days  I am an ex-Peregrine (found a new job) and I have been with Peregrine for four years and I joined when the company only had one product called ServiceCenter 2.0.

However, I really hope that they will survive because they have a unique bundle of applications to handle any companys IT-infrastructure.

Yes, and I remember the first time I ever spoke with You about the Remote Management software which was the only remote takeover software that worked on OS/2 this is almost 4 years ago and approx 3-6 months before we bought ServiceCenter. I remember I was very impressed when You said that You had the french developers ready to test the software in a similar environment as we were using it in.
I hope that Peregrine survives this. If they survive - support will not be the same for danish customers without You in charge of the Nordic Support because You are able to see the customers point of view. You have fought many batles for us.
So thank You Steen for almost 4 years support![]()
