Default ServiceCenter 6.1.3 P4 to Service Manager 7.10

We are currently running ServiceCenter 6.1.3 with the P4 database. We are looking to upgrade to Service Manager 7.10 with an SQL db this year. Is there a direct upgrade path between these versions? If not what is the recommended upgrade path? I will be doing the upgrade myself, so any insight would be appreciated. FYI...We will also be upgrading our PDI to DDMi this year. I did the 5.1 to 6.1.3 myself about 3 years ago and was suprised by the ease of it.

There is no direct upgrade. You need to upgrade to SM 7.0 first then upgrade to 7.10.

The application upgrade utility that ships with 7.10 allows you to upgrade from 6.2 to 7.10. It may be a little easier to upgrade to 6.2 then go to 7.10

Ok so HP must have changed that because above information is from HP. I guess it makes sense since there is minimal difference betwen SC 6.2 and SM 7.0.

But there has been a change in attachment handling in 7.10 that means 7.0 clients cannot connect to 7.10 servers so the client should be upgraded to 7.10 before the server.
