Star Wars 3

I'm sure there must be some other people here who like Star Wars - obviously Tommy does

Anyway, so for those of you who follow the whole thing, what do you think will happen in Star Wars 3? There's lots of speculation floating around the internet about it.

My personal take is that obviously Anakin becomes Vader, very likely Count Dooku gets killed (which sucks because I really like that guy too). Mace Windu is supposed to get killed, but it's up in the air as to how.

My big question is who kills Dooku and how? I'm thinking Anakin will, in a similar staged effort by Palpatine/Darth Sidious. He will tell Anakin to kill Dooku and replace him at Palpatine's side, much in the same manner as the offer he made to Luke to kill Vader.

One of the last scenes will have to be a fight between Anakin-Vader and Kenobi, in which Kenobi badly injures Anakin-Vader, which is why he gets so equipped with breathing apparatus later on.

It also explains the "and now *I* am the master" quote in the very first movie, when Vader and Kenobi meet for the last time.

Obviously Amidala has to get pregnant without Anakin knowing about it, and maybe we'll see Kenobi distributing the 2 kids, or maybe not. Leia goes to the guy played by Jimmy Smits - which is where she gets the "Organa" name.

And Anakin has to somehow betray the Jedi overall, and possibly hunt down the final few.

The Chancelor becomes Emperor, and the clones change helmet styles.

Kenobi and Yoda run off and hide on their 2 planets - and Anakin/Lukes homeworld, and Degobah.

BTW: I got all this just from movies and official Star Wars sites. I suggest you read up on their site for episode 3 when it's updated, there's a lot of hints in there.You could tell ahead of time that episode 2 was going to have a bar fight.

Ultimately Anakin is destroyed by the conflict between being a Jedi and his love for his (lost) mother and for Amidala. Very biblical if you ask me.

I read a pretty interesting post on a Force.net (in their spoiler section) website recently discussing R2-D2's role in the next film. Something along the line of that he has been the insider for the Empire all along. Wouldn't that be a Sixth Sense like ending?

In the recent UK census, 390,000 people had specified their religion as 'Jedi'......... a lot better philosophy than certain other religions. However, the government here will still not recognise it as genuine. :evil:

If you look at the BBC News website and search for 'Jedi' you will get the whole story ! :wink:
