service manager question

hi ppl

i can´t find a right forum for this question so i can launch the question here!

i can say what Service Manager is a tool for projects managers or an auditor?

i ask this because:

1- i´m new on SM
2- i´m a university student
3- i want to be an auditor or a project manager

There is a HP tool named "HP Project Potrfolio Manager" which is much better in that area.
SM has almost nothing in common with managing projects. At least OOB, you can always implement it
