    I've noticed that Donate link below everyone's ID whenever they post. What purpose do the points serve?

    Its just a litle gag. You give points if You think a user has provided some good help for You. You get automatic points for posting etc.

    Maybe it will disappear next time I do a major upgrade of the forum software.
