    Question [CIT] A CXmlApiException was raised...error 2 : scxmlapi(2) - No method supplied

Requirement: To populate the assignment groups through SM web-service connector in CIT, source being LDAP.

    Current setup:
    • SM: In order to synchronize the SM assignment groups with the groups present in LDAP, i have added a record in extaccess table to be able to use it as a web-service.
    • CIT: LDAP connector at source & SM web-service at destination. I have checked the connectivity at both end, which is okay.
    Questions:
    • To use this custom web-service, do i need to define display options etc. as well? or just a record in extaccess table is sufficient?
    • Do we need to define the 'Action Type' in the extaccess record in case of a custom web-service?
    • Do we have any OOB web-service available to do the same task?
Issue: Now, when i run the scenario, i get the below error messages,

    2010/03/04 20:44:6.000 0 1 (0) Unable to initialize request.
    2010/03/04 20:44:6.000 0 1 (0) Error processing query.

    2010/03/04 20:44:6.000 2 1 (0) Cause by java.io.IOException: Server returned HTTP response code: 500 for URL: http://pc-pg49557.ttcnt.com:13080/sc62server/ws

Would appreciate any inputs or pointers to resolve this issue… TIA...

    Default

The Action is requred to allow you WS call to tell SM which action to perform. This action is associated to an (existing) option in the State record (or sometimes only in the DocEng code). So easiest is to define an action that relates to the same action as the displayoption calls when adding an AG.
