SMS getting mixed up

Hi All

We are using HP SC Auto 4.0.1 for sending page message from SM. we have added some contacts in Distribution group. We are sending alphanumeric messages to the distribution group. Now we are facing issues like when we are sending messages more than 160 characters, the messages are getting mixed up with old messages. we are not getting the messages correctly most of the time.

had anyone faced simliar kind of issue.

anyone has any idea on this.

I always tried to limit my SMS to 160 characters or less, this pretty much avoided most issues, including the client complaining the messages were too long

also, i found adding a message number in the title helped to organize different messages.

when you say messages are getting mixed up with older messages... do you mean ones that are sent out at the same time? that can come down to alot of things, including the mobile phone carrier network. if you send message A and one second later send message B, there's no guarantee you'll see message A first.
